The story
The card game "Hagakure" draws inspiration from the story of the two friends who grew up together in a small Japanese village and eventually became samurais. Just like in the game, where players must navigate challenges and prove their skills to become the apprentice of the greatest samurai, the narrative of the two friends involves a similar journey of growth and competition. The themes of camaraderie, rivalry, and the pursuit of excellence that are present in their story are reflected in the gameplay dynamics of the card game, creating a cohesive experience that ties the narrative and gameplay together.

Inspired by Hagakure's graphic charter, the card design embodies the essence of samurai culture and Japan's beauty. Each card features handwritten typography reminiscent of ancient scrolls passed down through generations, along with intricate illustrations reflecting the legacy of legendary warriors. Subdued colors and a worn brush effect add authenticity, while traditional motifs transport players to rural Japan. Every detail is crafted to immerse players in Hagakure's captivating world.
